Disability Parking Placards in Illinois

Apply through the Illinois Secretary of State, Persons with Disabilities License Plates and Placard Unit using Persons with Disabilities Certification for Parking Placard or License Plates (VSD 62). Fee: Disability parking placards are free to eligible Illinois residents; a replacement placard (VSD 415) costs $10.. Temporary placards are valid for the length of time indicated by the certifying physician, not to exceed six months if issued by the Secretary of State or up to 90 days if issued by a local municipality. Placards are valid until the expiration date on the placard.
